It's time to put pencil to paper. Or, shall we say, fingers to computer keys. We’re asking you to write about your best travel adventure. What constitutes an adventure? It need not be tracking an Albino Rhinoceros in Namibia or leading a dog sled in Nepal. It might be a walking tour in Spain, a road trip with your girlfriend or travelling with your newborn for the first time. You decide --it’s entirely up to you. If your submission is chosen, you'll enjoy the ultimate adventure: seven nights along Central America's Pacific coast on Temptress Adventure Cruises, the leader in soft adventure cruising expeditions.

The entry deadline is June 30th.

Please read the guidelines carefully as any essay which does not follow these guidelines will not be considered for selection.

Writer’s Guidelines...

• Articles should be written by women and should contain information of particular interest to the female traveller.
  
  
• Participants should be registered members of the Journeywoman Network who receive our electronic travel tip newsletter (It’s free and easy to join, just click here).
  
  
• Your entry may be up to 900 words in length plus two sidebars dealing with your subject (sidebars are over and above the 900 words). Try to be creative with the type of additional sidebar information you provide. If there are website URL's that will be helpful to your readers, please include those as well.
  
  
• Send your entry as an attachment to sheadventures@journeywoman.com If you do not write your essay in Word or higher, then cut and paste your entry into your e-mail message. No photos please.
  
  
• Send 2-3 lines of bio that can be used to introduce your story. Include contact information: Send your full home address, e-mail address and telephone number.
  
  
• When you submit your article, state that you have read these writer's guidelines.
  
  
• Your entry becomes the full property of Journeywoman and Temptress Adventure Cruises and can be republished at their discretion both as editorial content and promotional material.
  
  
• The winning entry will be published at www.journeywoman.com. The winning contestant will also have the opportunity to publish, at the website, an additional article describing her adventures while on the Temptress Adventure Cruise. So get up, get going and be a Journeywoman adventuress.
