She
does business in Chicago...
Sharon Wingler writes from the windy city: Impress your clients. For
a delicious, upscale seafood meal with a great city view, take them
to Riva on Chicago's Navy Pier, 700 E. Grand Avenue, right on Lake
Michigan. Their portobello mushroom appetizer comes highly recommended.

No
signs on hotel room doors, please...
Consider this scenario. You’re travelling on business and you’ve got
your laptop computer with you. You leave for breakfast and automatically
post the “Maid, Please Clean This Room” sign on your hotel room door.
You return and your laptop’s gone. Oh-oh. Not only did you signal
the maid; you also put out a welcome sign for thieves. Don’t do it!
Mixing
pleasure with business travel...
Jennifer C. of Chicago writes: During a recent business trip to London,
I wanted to get the most out of the wonderful art museums the city
has to offer—but didn't have the luxury of wandering through them
for days. A friend recommended Harrington & Healing—Art Historians.
They coordinated a personalized tour for me and my client. Our tour
on “Women & Power” took us through the 15th-19th centuries at the
National Gallery. I found the tour most informative and recommend
them for corporate entertaining. They have themed tours to choose
from and will also personalize your group or private tours. You can
contact Harrington & Healing via email at: HH@letterbox.com
or by phone at: 44-171-978-4593.
