Our New Partnership with Context Travel Helps You Stay Inspired
To help mature women travellers continue to build knowledge and feed their curiosity, JourneyWoman has announced a new partnership with Context Travel to offer online seminars, courses and special classes through its new ‘Context Conversations’ offering. Context Travel is a network of scholars and specialists who invite travelers off the tourist track and into the real life of the people, history, and culture of the world’s greatest cities.
“In these times of anxiety and uncertainty, it’s important to sustain our curiosity and optimism for travel,” said Carolyn Ray, Publisher + Editor-in -Chief, JourneyWoman. “Context Conversations demonstrates and presents quality knowledge and deep expertise about the world we live in that is a bridge between the realities of today and the opportunities for travel in the future. The JourneyWoman appetite for knowledge and curiosity about art, history and literature is perfectly aligned with Context Conversation’s syllabus, and fits perfectly with the needs expressed by our mature women travellers. We are thrilled to deliver these unparalleled experiences to women everywhere while we’re waiting to travel in real life again.”

Missing my Annual “Bucket list” trip due to our extraordinary year! I usually pick a place that I have never been before, combine it with a yoga retreat , swimming vacation, or guided hike and a cultural goal! I love to travel solo and try to bookend my trip dropping into to see Family and Friends in the U.K. Every trip begins and ends in London, my birth city, and a city that I miss and love. I hike around London for a few days, taking in the city crowds and streets. Picking one particular museum to re explore! Missing this trip terribly this year. Next trip will be Lisbon, Portugal to The Azores via London of course (with a side trip to Sintra) oh well next year!!!
