“Ask JourneyWoman”, Solo Travel Tips and Exclusive HOT FLASH deals

For the first time in its 30+-year history, JourneyWoman is launching a new, email-only subscription newsletter for women that celebrates all the things we love in travel. Published two Mondays a month, this short read will highlight inspiring women over 50, curated first-hand solo travel tips and HOT FLASH deals exclusive to JourneyWoman.

“In our December 2024 reader survey, the overwhelming majority of women said that their travel decisions are inspired by trusted women’s websites like ours and that they prefer email over social media for travel inspiration,” said Carolyn Ray, CEO and Editor, JourneyWoman CEO. “Smitten is designed to create a stronger sense of community and curate the best of JourneyWoman’s cumulative wisdom, including new features like:  “Meet a JourneyWoman” profiling inspiring women from around the world, an “Ask JourneyWoman” advice column about solo travel, and first-hand solo travel tips to help women step into solo travel with confidence. We’re inviting all women to support us by subscribing and participating by sharing their stories, advice and asking questions.”

Launching in early February 2025, Smitten is a subscription-only newsletter, available through email only twice a month. By subscribing, women can help support JourneyWoman’s female writers and team working behind the scenes who manage our website, newsletters and our Women’s Travel Directory. Your support also validates our decision NOT to follow the traditional business model of distracting pop-up advertising on our site, erecting paywalls and restricting content that helps women travel safely. As always, all women around the world have complimentary access to our full website, monthly JourneyWoman Magazine, webinars, book club and private Solo Travel Wisdom Facebook group.

For those who have made a decision to stay off social media (good call!), this newsletter will bring you the best of everything we have.  Help support our efforts to inspire women to embrace solo travel by subscribing to this new newsletter here. For just C$5/US$3 a month or C$60/US$42 a year for 24 issues, we’ll send you first-hand tips and advice on alternate Mondays, twice a month. You’ll receive this email twice a month, and can even be featured in it. Use our discount code ILOVEJW for a 10% discount today (valid for two months). Subscribe now!
