TORONTO, CANADA – January 9, 2026 — The global movement of female travellers over 50 is about to get a powerful new voice with JourneyWoman’s “The Ageless Adventuress” Travel Podcast, in partnership with Switzerland-based travel company Globus. Hosted by Kathy Buckworth, the first episode will air in February 2026, with guests to be announced shortly.
“We”re thrilled to have Globus, one of the world’s most prestigious travel companies, recognize the influence and importance of older women in travel,” says Carolyn Ray, CEO, JourneyWoman. “As the world’s first travel resource for women over 50, we know that age is a superpower. We hope this podcast shows the joy of travel and gives women 50+ the confidence to make their dreams happen. Travel is the best way to build connection and sisterhood, and find a sense of belonging and community, as we know from our own experiences.”
Bold travel at any age
“As women over 50 lead longer, bolder and more active lives, travel has become an increasingly powerful tool for personal growth and connection,” said Steve Born, chief marketing officer for the Globus family of brands. “Travelling with Globus is rooted in confidence, connection and ease. Globus Escapes are designed for travellers who value intentional planning, off-season travel with smaller crowds and exceptional value – including no single supplement for those who book early – making these itineraries a natural fit for the JourneyWoman audience. We’re thrilled to partner together on a podcast that celebrates curiosity, independence and the freedom to travel boldly at any age.”
The JourneyWoman Ageless Adventuress Travel Podcast will be available on Spotify, Apple and other podcasting platforms. Interviews will also be available on JourneyWoman’s YouTube channel.
