JourneyWoman Women’s Travel Directory (2021)
A listing in the Women’s Travel Directory includes up to 100 words, a colour photo and updated copy as needed throughout the year. Listings in the Directory show up in our destination section and in the “type of travel’ categories. For 2021, we’ve reduced the price of an annual listing by over 50% to show our support for small businesses in the travel industry.
This listing is the first step to get access to the JourneyWoman community. You’ll be invited to also join our monthly Tour Operator calls, where we come together and share insights and ideas that benefit our community. A listing is required prior to advertising in JourneyWoman Magazine or to contribute a sponsored post (separate cost). We’ll work with you to create a strategic plan to communicate your services and tours to our audience in a way that aligns with your destination focus and meets your marketing objectives
Become part of the JourneyWoman movement
To build strong relationships with our partners and help present their products and services in a strategic way, we've designed a different kind of partnership model that reinforces our commitment to you, and to our community. Following the purchase of an annual membership, we will work with you to develop a strategic marketing program.
We Believe in Authentic Travel
We ask all of our partners to align with our criteria for Authentic Travel: As our world faces unprecedented challenges, the time has come to take action and help protect our world for future generations by travelling authentically.
To be considered in our Directory you must respond YES to the questions below:
- Are you majority woman-owned or founded?
- Do you support local entrepreneurs and businesses in the country you provide travel to?
- Do you support sustainable travel initiatives, such as reducing plastic, encouraging the use of public transportation, supporting farm to table restaurants, etc.
- Do you encourage volunteerism in the communities in which you operate?
- Do you take steps to ensure that there is no harm to wildlife and the natural environment
Once we've received payment, we'll be in touch to review your submission, and discuss other opportunities to help you build your business. Thank you!
We always strive to use real photos from our own adventures, provided by the guest writer or from our personal travels. However, in some cases, due to photo quality, we must use stock photography. If you have any questions about the photography please let us know.
