“With this campaign, Explore wants to show women over 50 that there’s no age limit to adventure travel,” says Katy Rockett, Managing Director, Explore North America. “Adventure travel is so appealing for a solo traveller, especially women, because it’s so empowering. With the safety, security and camaraderie of an Explore group, women have built-in companionship in a small group.”

“As the world’s first solo travel website for women, we’re thrilled to partner with Explore and encourage women step out of their comfort zone,” says Carolyn Ray, CEO, JourneyWoman. “We appreciate that Explore focuses on less-travelled places, and its itineraries include details on pace and activity level, something we know women over 50 are seeking when making a travel decision.”

Based in the UK, B Corporation Explore Worldwide has been creating small group adventures for over 40 years, with trips in over 100 countries around the world. Explore recently expanded into North America. Early on, its founders recognized the need for providing more authentic experiences and sustainable experiences and getting away from the main tourist trail. From six trips then, the company now has over 350 trips a year to 100 countries, including less-travelled destinations like Algeria and Poland. Read more about Explore here.
