Introducing our second iPhone travel photography course just for JourneyWomen
By Carolyn Ray, JourneyWoman Publisher
We’re rolling out the first of our courses for 2022, and what better place to start than photography! Due to the popular response of our first course in October – November, we’ve added a new one for January with photographer Lee Horbachewski, to help you bring your travel stories to life.
In this course, you will learn how to capture amazing images with your iPhone. Whether it’s landscape, people, architecture, or wildlife, you will learn how to set up your iPhone camera correctly, and many wonderful hidden gems that will help you make the most of this small and mighty tool. Lessons on mindfulness, composition and lighting will give you the tools to make the most of every magical moment. To round out the course, you’ll learn how to edit your images to take them from good to great and a fun showcase of everyone’s work with fabulous prizes.
Module 1 – Mindfulness, iPhone set up & Taking Photos (January 11)
Module 2 – Composition, Lighting & Editing (January 18)
Module 3 – Q & A and Showcase (January 26)
Each module will be 120 minutes with time for discussion. Feedback from our first class was that 90 minutes wasn’t long enough!
The final session will be a showcase with photos featured on the JourneyWoman website and on our social media platforms. All photos shared will remain the property of those who submit them. See below for the photographs from our first course!
