Inspiring adventure at any age with women-owned travel businesses

In honour of our 30th anniversary, JourneyWoman is hosting a “Women Over 50” travel zone at the 2024 National Women’s Show from November 8-10, 2024. With guest speakers, authors and prizes, our JourneyWoman booth 733 will be a hub for women passionate about travel to get connected and inspired about travel. The show runs from Friday to Sunday, starting at 10:00 am, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

JourneyWoman community members will assist with staffing the booth, answering questions and sharing their own solo travel experiences. With the theme of “Adventure at Any Age’, JourneyWoman’s Women over 50 Travel Zone will include women-owned travel businesses from around the world, and focus on bucket list experiences for women over 50, including safaris, Northern Lights and polar travel, hiking and walking, small ship experiences and wellness travel. There will also be safety talks, packing tip demonstrations and giveaways from JourneyWoman partners.

“We’re excited to help women make their travel dreams real and show them that anything is possible, at any age,” says Carolyn Ray, CEO, JourneyWoman. “We’ll also be celebrating our 30th anniversary throughout the show with prizes, book and travel gear giveaways, and lots of fun, not to mention featuring some incredible women-owned travel businesses.”
