Join us to connect, share and lead — together
As the world’s first website and community for solo women travellers, JourneyWoman is committed to helping women on their journey of self-discovery, as we seek, learn, share and act with purpose. In January 2025, we’re launching a new forum, our first JourneyWoman Salon, hosted by transformational coach and entrepreneur Tania Carriere, Founder, Advivum Journeys.
Held monthly, the JourneyWoman Salon is an online zoom call for women to meet, connect and share. It’s an evolution of JourneyWoman’s previous Community Calls, providing a safe space for women to connect and share our hopes and dreams for the future.
“Every day, I receive emails from women looking for an infusion of positivity, who dream of freedom, but sometimes lack the courage to follow their dreams,” says JourneyWoman CEO Carolyn Ray. “Tania has the perfect skill set to help us start conversations, embolden us to act in our own best interest and immerse ourselves in the world. There is no good reason for us to wait — the world needs us.”

Tania’s love affair with travel and self-discovery began at 18 with a solo trip to France, where she wrote her first book.
“Immersing myself in a new culture, I experienced the profound transformation that comes from aligning with one’s inner wisdom,” she says. ” In 1995, I embarked on my corporate path as a consultant at a boutique management consulting and business transformation firm in Ottawa, Canada. There, I discovered that true leadership change starts with internal transformation. Working with international leaders, I learned that inspiring others requires a deep, authentic connection with oneself. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to executive coaching and consulting, helping individuals cultivate strong personal leadership and embrace new possibilities. My travels—spanning over 75 countries—continue to fuel my passion for discovery and personal growth.”
