Susanne says “Code Hostel right on the Royal Mile was great, you can get a private room or a pod and it’s a clean, safe place close to the castle and the fun places to see in Edinburgh. Easy walk to the train station too.” CoDE Co-Living – The LoFT is set on Rose Street North Lane, just a short walk from Princes Street. It offers modern interiors within a red brick-clad period building. It offers rooms with bunk beds, a shared kitchen and a communal area.

Macy recommends the Raddison Blu Hotel and says “the bed was the most comfortable I had slept on during my 5-week holiday. It was awesome and I have a bad back.” The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh City Centre is 500 meters away from lively Princes Street. So incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Loved every second of it. I was living in London at the time and took the train to Edinburgh and back and it was a great ride — I even met an older solo traveling woman living in Aberdeen and had a wonderful conversation with her.”

It’s only a 15-minute drive to the airport or you can take an express bus that passes right by the entrance.” This hotel is known as one of the best luxury hotels in Edinburgh and is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World
