An entrepreneur and innovator, Carolyn led teams in professional services roles, most recently as the CEO of Interbrand Canada, for almost 25 years. After a transformational service trip to Kenya with her daughter, she abandoned corporate life and auctioned off everything she owned to travel full time. A year later, she was invited to carry on the legacy of the iconic solo travel publication JourneyWoman and transitioned into the travel industry just in time for the pandemic.
She travels full-time in countries like Mexico and Spain and is always seeking new places where she can enjoy margaritas, learn Spanish and live the life of her dreams. She was named one of the most influential women in travel by TravelPulse in March 2023 for her work bringing awareness to the influence of mature women in travel and advocating for issues such as inclusion, human trafficking, ageism and accessibility.
